[It's been a really long week since the storms ended. Applejack has been working around the clock, trying to clean up the wreckage around the farm, sweep out the water that got in through holes broken in the roof of the barn and also the cottage, find a few sheep who wandered off in panic, and just overall repair all the broken fences/sheds/whatever. Not to mention there are several very young apple trees that she had just barely planted who have been unfairly broken.

She manages to make it through this sleepless week working by herself - alright, with Winona helping - but even her dog is exhausted now and there's still more to do.

The loss of the trees is what's hitting her the hardest. This never happened back home. The pegasi always just said if a big storm was coming and then tadaa, they could secure everything in time.

She thought about asking for help earlier, decided against it, and balanced her journal atop a fence. Which she's in the middle of repairing, so after kicking in a few nails, it falls off and open. She doesn't notice at first, still mumbling under her breath as she works, lost in a sleepy haze.]

...gone. All of 'em. Rosemary, Irving, Bloomburg Junior... even Gladys... [Kick. Board is on crooked. Heavy sigh.] Hayseed.

[Another badly-aimed buck knocks the board off for readjustment, and it's only then that she sees the journal wide open.

...Oh.]

Uh. Heh-heh. Howdy. [Sleepy brain whirring, she manages a sheepish:] Don't reckon anyone would mind helpin' ta fix some fences? Or maybe catch a couple sheep...?

[Sanji, she's going to owe you an entire smorgasbord of apple treats by the time this storm fiasco is over, isn't she? Because she has to pay off the help somehow.]

Ah know you've got a lot ta worry about right now, too, Sanji. [The restaurant, after all. Although she really hopes it fared better than the farm.] If ya see any sheep wanderin' inta town, just give me a holler an' -- [Yaaawn. Headshake.] -- Ah can come get 'em.

That I can do, but... you sound like you could use a nap.

[Yeah, she's sleepy enough to be hearing things by now. She squints at the journal in confusion.]

A map? Why would Ah need a map?

[Ah, look at that - her proving his point. B|]

Ahaha, I meant nap, Applejack! [he smiles, though still obviously concerned] You're exhausted!

Oh. [This is a defensive frown going on here, Sanji.]

Ah'm fine, really. Nothin' Ah can't handle. [There's only yards upon yards of broken fence as opposed to hundreds and hundreds of apple trees to harvest. No big, right?] 'Sides, there's still a lot that needs doin' 'round here.

[It figures Applejack would be one of those types, willing to run herself into the ground so long as the job gets finished. Sanji finds it impressive, mind, but that doesn't keep him from prodding further]

How much do you need to do? [And there's a curious note to his voice, one Applejack might recognize: it's the sound of someone who is asking so he can cover half her work]

[Yeah, she's picking up on that tone. She's been able to spot it in her friends from miles away.]

Well, the fences, but... don't you worry 'bout it none. They oughta be done by tonight.

[She hopes. Midnight still counts for "tonight", right?]

But with a little help, I bet Applejack can be done in no time at all~! [And then take a nap.]

Well, Ah guess, but... don't ya have a lot ta do around the restaurant, too? [Naps are less important than making sure your friends aren't troubled!]

Yeah, but I've got my employees chippin' in. It'll be alright if I take some time to help out my favorite pony~!

If you're sure it won't be any trouble... [She still feels a little guilty, but there doesn't seem to be any stopping him, either.] Ah appreciate it, Sanji.
